Selling
4 the New Millennium is about sales, but a
different kind of sales. Lets' face it, without
sales there is no business. Yet, so many seem to
have a negative connotation with selling, to the
point where they feel paralyzed by the mere thought
of having to sell.
But what if you were told that you are always
selling whether you are aware of it or not? That
being the case, the next question is, do you like
what you are selling? If you are not experiencing
happiness, joy and fulfillment in your life,
chances are, you do not like what you are selling,
even when you are still selling it.
Selling 4 the New Millennium is about a
paradigm shift, one that must take place if we
truly want to experience happiness, joy, and
fulfillment in our career, life, and ultimately, if
we want to make a positive impact in the world.
For students, this book is the foundation to a
life driven by purpose rather than acquisitions.
For teachers, this book offers an opportunity to
see the gift each student has to offer as opposed
to simply judging by appearances.
For entrepreneurs, this book will help shift
radically the way business is being conducted so
that power and greed can be replaced by mutual
respect and cooperation, leading to success beyond
anyone's wildest imagination.
After spending thousands on seminars, books and
teachers, learning all sorts of sales and success
strategies, author Nick Arandes overcame his fear
of selling by letting go of everything he was
taught. In this powerful, insightful and very
inspiring book, Nick shares the one simple and very
practical strategy that helped him, as well as
everyone who have read this book to become the
greatest salesperson ever!

What
is your purpose for being here?
Are you here to expand or to fit
in? You Have A Reason For Being Here!
Students
need to connect with their heart desires. This will
enable them to do better academically because they
are now connecting with their real passion.
"Everyone was born original,
unfortunately
most students end up being copies."
What's the difference between a student that
has no passion and a visionary? One follows
everyone else's path while a visionary creates the
new path for others to follow. And although it
seems that it takes a great deal of courage for
students to follow their heart, in reality,
it is easier than most students
think.
In a
very thought provoking way, filled with insight and
humor, Nick set the stage for students to discover
and honor the talents and gifts they were born
with.
This allows for a much happier and fulfilling
college experience by not only allowing them to
nurture their talents and gifts, but by encouraging
them to further develop those areas that are of
great interest to them.
While most inspirational speakers just
inspire, Nick will inspire them, entertain them,
and most importantly, help them connect with their
true passion,
something
that they will treasure forever!

After having read Nick Arandes' book
and heard him speak at a previous
engagement, university professor Patty
Oneal, MS, MFT (Master of Science,
Marriage and Family Therapist) asked
him if he would be willing to talk to her
students at California State
University. Here are few minutes of
Nick's one hour talk on love and
relationships.
Nick
Arandes is by far one of the most
dynamic, out of the box thinker, and
inspirational speakers in the circuit
today. He is affectionately known as the
"Radical
Kid" for a reason. His
unique way to present powerful
principles unlike any other helps
accelerate personal transformation.
Nick was a stand up comedian for
over 15 years. Has traveled all over the
continental U.S. and abroad, has
appeared on national television,
syndicated radio shows as well has
having numerous articles written about him
in newspapers. After achieving what he
thought he wanted, Nick found himself
dealing with a thyroid tumor, became broke
and homeless. His experience led to a path
that, unbeknown to him, would help
transform people's lives.

Testimonials
"I
really enjoyed Nick's enthusiasm
about the topics he talked about
and how he was very passionate as
well. He really got me thinking
about why I worry what others
think about me. Bottom line, I
only need to please myself
because I am the only one who
will know what I want and seek.
In
a very thought provoking way,
filled with insight and humor,
Nick set the stage for students
to discover and honor the talents
and gifts they were born
with. Do I really love
my boyfriend or do I want to
believe that I love him because
of all the things society has
imprinted on us that love is?
Overall, I believe that anyone
who listens to what Nick has to
say will learn a lot about love
and a lot about what they really
are seeking in life. It's a
definite eye-opener. Thank you
for giving us the opportunity to
listen to Nick." -Patricia,

I
felt that I was given a
completely new outlook on love
and most importantly
myself. I brought my
mom along with me and her and my
dad have been married for 25
years. It was interesting to see
that she saw love in a entirely
different way after listening to
his talk. I have always had the
mentality that we need to be
secure with ourself before we
entered a relationship, but I
could never quite grasp how to do
that prior to listening to Nick.
Overall, it was refreshing to
hear from an individual who
openly admitted that he failed at
relationships so many times but
found the solution in his later
years. He was so motivating and
encouraged me to change my
relationship habbits. My
mother also shared the insight
with my father and I have seen a
change in their marriage even
after all these years. I
really enjoyed the seminar and
would love to learn more about
Nick! " - Chantal, Student

Testimonial
"I
am a professor at Cal State San
Marcos, and recently had Nick
Arandes come and speak to four of
my Sociology classes. I
originally heard Nick speak about
a month ago about New Year's
Resolutions. I was so impressed
by his talk, I asked if he could
come and speak to my classes.
Nick's talk was inspirational
and funny and motivating for the
students. He talked about the
importance of following your
dreams and how to discover what
those dreams are. He helped
students understand that the
relationship one has with oneself
is the most important one.
Many students stayed after his
talk to ask questions. There was
complete silence during his talk
because everyone was listening so
intently. (I checked and no
one was sleeping!)
I can't think of a better
speaker for the campus-wide
lecture series. I think Nick has
a unique gift where he can
motivate others to find the right
path for them, especially those
that are struggling.
For
all those students who don't know
what they are going to do with
their lives, attending Nick's
lecture would be a giant step in
the right directionf.
Feel free to contact me if you
have any further questions.
Sincerely,
-Patty Oneal"
"The
'What's love got to do with it?'
talk with Nick Arandes was quite
an eye opening experience,
he
was a great speaker and I thought
it was a very student friendly
talk. He addressed
some great points about love and
relationships and I thought he
worked great with the students
and firmly addressed and answered
all questions asked. I liked how
he kind of addressed all topics
that mold into all aspects of a
relationship for examle: why is
there anger in relationships,
what love is and how one defines
it, gender norms in society, and
finding your soul within - you
have to be happy with yourself in
order to be happy with those
around you. All together I
learned a lot and it gave me
inspiration to spread his words
of wisdom and thoughts to those
that are around me and
encourage them that life should
be an amazing adventure."
-Christina, Student
"Nick is a great
inspirational speaker, making a
potentially serious topic to some
insightful as well as fun and
comical.He
really came to the level of the
student making me feel as though
he was talking to me and not down
to me. He was so
willing and encouraged the
listeners to be apart of his talk
and encouraged participation. He
is a very strong and insightful
speaker who really made me think
about our topic of love and how
to love ourselves as well as
others, living for 'me' and not
for your or us and until I am
able to live for me and love me
it is almost impossible to really
love someone else. I really
enjoyed listening to him speak
and his desire to speak shows
through his passion as he stood
before us and engaged us."
-Amanda, Student
"I
am glad that I had the
opportunity to listen to Nick
Arandes speak at California State
University San Marcos campus.
I really enjoyed
hearing about how to first love
myself before trying to love
others, and how we need to ground
ourselves and get to know
ourselves, then we will see how
much easier life's roads will be.
What I received from his talk is
having faith in my Higher Power
which I choose to call God will
open doors that I would never
thought possible. Thanks and God
Bless," -Clairenda,

Life's Purpose: Every student was
born with a purpose. Something they feel naturally
passionate about. By the time they get to college, most of
them have either forgotten what their purpose for being here
is, or have been programmed by parents, teachers, media,
religious beliefs, friends, or society at large, as to what
is it that they should do in order to become a so called
"productive citizen" or to make their family proud or to
pursue a particular status, etc.
The challenge with most intellectual decisions is that
their heart is saying one thing but their mind is suggesting
another. That unconscious inner conflict leads to anger,
depression, violence, just to name a few of the negative
repercussions that take place as a result of repressing a
vital part of their being. This talk followed by questions
and answers opens up the space for students to really
connect with their true passion and life's purpose, a very
transformative experience.
Inspiration: People
focus on motivating people to perform. The challenge is,
motivation is a mind-game that very seldom last while
inspiration is a natural desire to perform. And that is
something that arises from within. Students who are
considered average or below average are simply buying on a
label. A label that aside from not being true is very
destructive.
Leadership: Most
students think that great leaders are those who lead when in
reality great leaders are those who listen. Another
misconception is, most people think that great leaders have
the most amount of followers. The truth is, great leaders
are those who inspire leadership in others. They have the
ability to bring out the greatness in those who are being
led.
This topic is integrated in all of Nick's talks. Leaders
lead by example. If students are doing what they love, that
is one of the most powerful ways in which we can begin to
instill leadership qualities.
Cultural Diversity - Self
Esteem: The challenge most students face,
especially those who are considered minorities, like myself
for example, is that they equate their sense of identity
with labels based on values and beliefs. They need to honor
who they are and what they stand for. One way for them to
feel good about themselves is by connecting with the passion
that is trying to drive their lives and to begin to trust
their inner wisdom.
Comedy: Being a
stand-up comedian makes for not only a fun
presentation, but a powerful one!

Funny,
funny, funny! Nick Arandes is a naturally talented
comedian...
...Nick didn't tell jokes but stories, one
funnier than the next. And his one-liners were
hilarious.
This is one comedian I hope comes back to
Marco Island. He had one funny story after another.
He gave the audience 55 minutes of non-stop
laughter. I could go on with all the funny things
he said, but that would give his whole show away.
And Nick did not use profanity which was novel and
well appreciated. -Sun Times, Marco

"My
scuba diving instructor tole me, "Don't bother the
sharks and they won't bother you.'" said comic Nick
Arandes. "But, how do I know the shark isn't
saying, 'Hey, that guy is looking at my
girlfriend.'" -LA Times
Onstage,
Arandes portrays a clean-cut everyman seemingly
always bewildered by mundane items such as airline
travel and bidets. Though Arandes speaks with a
noticeable accent and sprinkles cute malapropos
throughout his routine, he seldom pokes fun at
Puerto Ricans or other latinos. -Palm Beach
