How many
times you hear seminar leaders
using other's successes as
examples. They study what others
are doing in order for you to be
able to duplicated their results.
It is like a movie that does well
and they expect the sequel to do
better when the first time around
the creation was inspired by
Spirit while the sequel is
motivated by marketing.
People
look at giant businesses,
radio/TV personalities, authors,
artists, entrepreneurs to find
out what is it they did in order
to create their empire or
achiever their success.
Interesting enough, when asking
each one of these highly
successful people, their answer
seems to boil down to one word.
Passion.
They
simply have a passion for what
they do. And they even tell you
that they would still do what
they do even if they were not
making any money at it. Donald
Trump once said that he loves to
deal. And even if he were not
getting any financial
compensation for that, he would
still be dealing. Bill Gates said
that he does not know how to
sell. He simply is very
passionate about what he does,
that's why he loves to show up to
work every single day. Actually
to be more accurate, he shows up
to "play" every single
day.
I
remember some seminar leader
mentioning how Rush Limbaugh
attracts over ten million
listeners so he was giving
suggestions on how to recreate
that outcome. The point that he
is missing is, you will never
attract ten million listeners
doing what he does, you will only
attract ten million listeners,
more less, depending on what
number servers you best by doing
what YOU do. What I mean
by a number that serves you best,
I mean the number of people that
will be attracted to your work as
a result of your alignment with
your life's purpose.
I say
that because many people try to
bring in more than they can
handle because of their big ego.
That is why it is said,
"Be careful what
you pray for because you may end
up getting it."
So if you
want the fast route towards
happiness and success, stop doing
what they do best and focus on
doing what you do best. Yes,
learn strategies and ideas from
these people once you are clear
about your mission, but
ultimately, stop playing their
game and start playing yours
because someone once said,
"Everyone was born
original, but most people die
copies."
