Do you
consider yourself to be an
artist? When I ask in my seminars
how many people consider
themselves to be artists, the
ones that raise their hands are
usually musicians, painters,
sculptors, writers and the like.
For some reason I never see
business owners, parents,
secretaries or anyone else
raising their hand. And the
reason being is, most people
think that being an artists
pertains to only arts.
But if
you really understand what an
artists do, he/she creates. So no
matter what business or activity
you may be involved in, if you
need to create, you are assuming
the role of an artist. Now that
you understand that we are all
artists, let's use a painter for
example in order to demonstrate
how we create our vision. In
other words, how we manifest
our dreams.
A painter
first have an idea, a vision, a
thought. She/he gets inspired.
Then on an empty canvas begins to
paint. With a few strokes of a
brush and an array of colors
chosen by the painter, a
masterpiece is born.
In life,
we do the same thing. When we
have a vision, an idea, a dream,
we have an open canvas in which
we start creating our destiny.
The difference is, instead of a
paint brush or color pencils,
what we use is energy. Energy
that radiates out from our
thoughts.
The truth
is, right this moment everything
you see around you, you have
created it. The question is, are
you creating your reality
consciously or
unconsciously? None of the things
in your life were there before.
But because you have generated
energy through your thinking, on
your empty canvas you have
manifested the circumstances that
have led you to your present life
along with the things you have
right now. Let's face it, if you
do not take control of your
thinking, the outside world is
more than happy to hypnotize you
with their thoughts which
unconsciously become
yours.
Here is
another interesting thing. When
an artist have an idea, usually
after the painting, or the song,
the sculpture, whatever it is
they created is finished, it
always turns out better than the
original idea.
Same with
life. When you have a dream and
you direct your thoughts toward
the manifestation of that dream,
once realized, it is always far
much better than your original
request. That is how the universe
works. So the question is,
are you going to
paint your vision or will you let
the outside world do it for
you?
