Imagine a
child wanting a piece of cake
that is sitting on top of a very
tall counter. The child screams
while pointing towards the cake.
When her father hear her and
realize what the child wants, he
reaches over and gives her a
piece.
What the
metaphor means is, you DO NOT
have to struggle in order to
manifest your dreams. All you
need to do is, know what your
desire is, and by moving in that
direction, is like letting the
universe know what is it that you
want. Like the child pointing
towards the cake.
When the
universe hears your call, It will
bring your dreams right to you.
Just like the father reaching for
the cake and bringing it to the
child. However, there is a catch.
What if the father knew that the
cake was not ready? And the child
screams, not realizing that the
father is not denying her the
peace of cake. He simply loves
the her so much that he is just
waiting until the cake is ready
in order to give it to the
child.
Many
people give up on their dreams
thinking that their vision has
been denied. They just don't
realize that it is simply not
time yet, and that the universe
out of love is waiting for the
perfect timing before granting
their wishes.
Now, what
if the child out of ignorance
manage to climb and get a piece
of that cake before being ready
and end up getting sick. The
consequence of that action is far
much painful than the extra hour
or two of waiting time. Same with
life. There is an old quote, "Be
careful what you pray for because
you may end up getting it." That
is why we must learn to ask, act,
AND detach!
Because
when there is a dream, when you
want that cookie, the universe
already knows it. As a matter of
fact, the cake was baked for the
child because the father knew
that she loves cake. The universe
already knows what you love and
that is why the desire was
created on the first place. All
you need to do is, trust the
process. Your dreams will
come to you in perfect
time!
