Some may say, "failure is what
happens after you try something
and it doesn't work." Well, that
could be one possible answer. Now
let me ask you this. When you try
something and it doesn't work,
would you consider that to be a
bad thing? You have to be careful
here because if you say yes, that
is one of many potential reasons
why people fail in life, or
should I say, fear moving in the
direction of their dreams. That
is why most do not succeed in
life.
If we look at failure from a
different prospective, we can see
that failure is actually a "good"
thing. Why? Because every time
people fail at something, what
came out of there was a new
experience. A lesson that taught
them how "not" to do something.
Now you may say, "Duh! So what's
the point? Simple! If you try
something and does not work, by
knowing one way how "not" to do
something, it automatically
increases the odds for
succeeding. That way, when you
try the next thing, it may work.
And if it doesn't, you try a
different approach.
By going through the same
process, you realize that you are
not failing, you are actually
learning! Basically, it is a
process of elimination. Here it
the interesting thing. If you
choose to see every failure as a
lesson or just a new experience,
you'll soon come to the
realization that success is
nothing but a result of
cumulative little failures, or to
choose a better word,
"experiences."
Now let me ask you this. Isn't
that what life is? Nothing but a
cumulative day to day experiences
that has led you to this point?
What happened when you
experienced what some people
choose to label "bad days" in the
past? Did you give up? No.
Hopefully you learned from that
experience and moved on to the
next day. Noticed that I used the
word "hopefully" when beginning
this statement. Do you know why?
Because I heard someone once
said, "very few people have 30
years of experience, while most
have one year of experience 30
times."
That is exactly what happens
to people who fear failure, who
fear "learning," who fear"life
experiences." They stop growing.
They stagnate. In other words,
they stop failing! So, are you
afraid to fail. I can tell you
this. I'm sure I am not! The
words you are reading here, this
website, my whole life is nothing
but the result of cumulative life
experience! And there is no
ceiling to what I can accomplish,
as long as I continue learning!
Today, and from this day
forward, look at failure in the
face and laugh yourself all the
way through. That way, the
realization of all your dreams
are GUARANTEED!
