Do you, individual submitting lyrics, agree that these lyrics are your own creation and that you did not steal them from any other artist or source?

Do you, individual submitting lyrics, agree to let Nick Arandes record your lyrics and play them on video online, without expecting any kind of financial compensation, other than the fact that Nick Arandes will give you full credit by acknowledging the fact that you (individual submitting lyrics) are the creator of the lyrics, and not the music?

Do you, individual submitting lyrics, agree and understand that Nick Arandes is not responsible for what any third party, either individual, or organization independent from Nick Arandes' website may do with the music video once posted online? (An example would be, someone watches Nick Arandes' music video with your lyrics and decides to put it on a website that you and/or me may not agree with its content).

In the unlikely event that a third party decides to take your lyrics without any permission and starts playing them, or do whatever they choose to do, you, individual submitting lyrics, will not make Nick Arandes responsible for any action taken by a third party, and that any kind of disagreement would be resolved between you (individual submitting lyrics) and that third party, without getting Nick Arandes involved in your dispute, legal action or any form of action you, individual submitting lyrics, may feel guided to take?

If you, individual submitting lyrics, decide to record the lyrics with the music created by Nick Arandes, both you individual submitting lyrics, and Nick Arandes would agree on the amount in royalties that Nick Arandes would receive as a result of you individual submitting lyrics, using Nick Arandes' music in your recordings.

I, Nick Arandes will allow the individual who submitted the lyrics to any of my music to play the song for live audiences without having to incur any kind of legal or financial liability with Nick Arandes, even when the individual who wrote the lyrics is charging a cover for people to see his/her performance. Only in the event that the lyricist records the music and has it available for sale as a download, CD, or played on any kind of device that requires the song to be purchased, a written contract will be drawn up between Nick Arandes and the Lyricist so that Nick Arandes can be fairly compensated for the use of Nick Arandes' music. That being stipulated, do you, individual submitting lyrics, agree to let Nick Arandes play your song in live performances without Nick Arandes having to pay any kind of royalties to you, individual submitting lyrics, even when there may be a charge for people to go see Nick Arandes' performance?

I, Nick Arandes, promise to play the lyrics with the music shown on the video that the lyricist has selected, and that the lyrics will not be sold to a third party.

I, Nick Arandes, also recognize that the lyrics are the property of the lyricist, unless a legal agreement is made between Nick Arandes and the Lyricist.

Should a third party such as a recording artist, record label or producer want to obtain the rights of the lyricist's lyrics, or make contact with the lyricist, I, Nick Arandes, will gladly put them in touch using the contact information submitted by the lyricist at the time of submission so that the third party and the lyricist can reach an agreement that would benefit the lyricist and the third party involved. To be fair to Nick Arandes, in the unlikely event that a musician, producer or record label loves Nick's music but is not interested in the lyrics, Nick Arandes is allowed to sell his music without any lyrics, and the lyricist can use those lyrics for some other music. The lyrics and the music are each treated as their own separate entity and one is not bound to the other one.

I, Nick Arandes, will not receive any compensation, nor charge any kind of fee or commission for having brought a third party and the lyricist together. The only time where Nick Arandes may engage in contractual agreements regarding a song with a third party and the lyricist would be if Nick Arandes' music, which is Nick Arandes' creation, is requested. To be fair to Nick Arandes, the lyricist will not receive any kind of compensation from Nick Arandes if a third party such as a record label, artist, or producer is interested in Nick Arandes' music only.
